FAA part 107 for drones and quadcopters

The FAA has set up new rules for “non-hobbyist small unmanned aircraft (UAS) operations” which become a Part 107 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (PDF) and will cover “a broad spectrum of commercial uses for drones weighing less than 55 pounds”. The highlights of the new rule can be found in the link below and are classified into two main subjects: Operating requirements, Pilot Certification, UAS certification and respecting privacy.
